Who loves a clean oven tray?

This simple DIY concoction will have your oven trays and baking trays looking brand new again, the best part of it all is that it's really inexpensive and quick to make.

Every now and then, these tough stains seem to build up after cooking. Cleaning can them can sometimes be a complete bore. (Yawn)

I have recently started making homemade cleaning concoctions and so far absolutely loving it, they are super easy to make, inexpensive and the best part is, the kids can take part by learning "the science behind each ingredient"as they can get stuck in too.

Preparation Time:

10 minutes

Ingredients:

Bicarbonate Soda: Bicarbonate of is a mixture of sodium and hydrogen carbonate. It’s main use is for baking cakes or soda bread.

Lemon: Lemon is a terrific cleaning agent, The acid in lemon is antibacterial and antiseptic, and it acts as a natural bleach & of course the zesty smell of lemons is truly refreshing.

Toothpaste: Toothpaste is a mild abrasive, often made with baking soda that removes dental plaque. That same abrasive action works wonders on removing scuffs and stains on everything.

Happy cleaning!
